Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer with an interest in Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire‑Fighting systems to join our team. This entry‑level role offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in building services engineering, working on a range of projects under the guidance of senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and delivery of mechanical building services systems (HVAC, plumbing, and fire‑fighting) from concept through detailed design and construction.
• Contribute to calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation using CAD/BIM tools, ensuring coordination with other disciplines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to support interface coordination and resolve technical queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• 1-3 years of experience with an engineering firm in a mechanical role.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and building services design principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Assist in the preparation of design reports, Health & Safety files, O&M manuals, and provide technical support to bids and tenders, including quantity take‑offs.
• Develop technical skills through on‑the‑job learning and mentoring, while staying informed on relevant codes, standards and sustainability practices.
