Role Description:

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Software Engineer located in Rome/Milan. The role involves developing, maintaining, and supporting mainframe software products, collaborating with a team of engineers, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of mainframe systems. This role will mean becoming part of a global multi-disciplined mainframe development team (develop, test, document) and will involve learning about our mainframe products.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be an Italian Citizen
• Must be able and wiling to work in a hybrid capacity in our Rome Office
• Fluent English (B2 or C1 level)
• 1-3 years work experience in programming skill: C OR Java
• THIS ROLE IS JUNIOR LEVEL ROLE. WHILE SOME MAINFRAME EXPERIENCE MIGHT BE HELPFUL AS WELL AS DEVELOPMENT EXPERIENCE, THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT IS THAT YOU HAVE A DEGREE AND/OR EXPERIENCE IN SOFTWARE ENGINEER AND WILLING TO BE COMMITTED TO LEARNING WITHIN A MAINFRAME DEVELOPMENT ENVIRONMENT.
• Systems programmer
• Knowledge of products like IBM File Manager for z/OS, IBM Fault Analyzer for z/OS, ADFz, IDz, z/OS Explorer, z/OS Open Editor or similar products.
• Fluency in English
