Overview

RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Global Marketing Analyst to join its office in Genoa (Italy) within the Global Marketing & Pricing Division.

Mission
As a Junior Marketing Analyst, you will play a key role in driving market insights and customer understanding. You will contribute to market assessments, customer analytics, and targeted mass mailing initiatives, working closely with Business Units and the Global Strategy & Innovation team. Your work will help shape data-driven strategies and support the growth of our business.

Key Accountabilities
  • Market Analysis and Trend Monitoring: Supports the analysis of RINA Business Units\' underlying and addressable markets, conducting in-depth assessments by client segments and driven by the relevant market value chains, building up long term market scenarios at world and regional levels.
  • Utilizes data-driven insights to identify opportunities, challenges, and areas for strategic growth within the target markets.
  • Customer Behaviors and Competitive Environment: monitors and analyzes customer behaviors and conducts regular benchmarking exercises to evaluate competitors\' strategies, strengths, and weaknesses and provides actionable insights to identify commercial initiatives and to enhance the organization\'s competitive positioning.
  • Stays informed about emerging business models in the industry and new technologies in place.
  • Supports in the communication and dissemination of the performed analysis (via email, internal website, podcasts, etc.).
  • Order Intake Monitoring and Customer Segmentation: Monitors order intake and maintains customer segmentation based on market sector, business size and other relevant criteria.
  • Performs analysis to identify trends and insights in sales data to inform sales forecasts and decision-making.
  • Customer Satisfaction (Internal and External): Supports and implements the mechanisms to measure customer satisfaction both internally and externally and collects feedback through surveys and other channels.
  • Analyzes feedback data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance customer experience.
  • Direct Marketing: Coordinate mass mailing campaigns, including campaign planning and execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to branding guidelines. Monitors campaign performance metrics and provides regular reports and insights for optimization.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: For all the above, work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, business development, and product teams.
Education

Master’s Degree in Marketing or Economics

Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing intelligence, market research or related roles
  • Ability to analyze market trends and provide strategic recommendations
  • Previous experience in a global company or consulting firm is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret market data
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Fluent in Italian and English
