A leading engineering company in Italy is looking for a Junior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering – Systems/Plants area. The successful candidate will manage electrical power supply and distribution, design illumination systems for roads and tunnels, and work with traffic management equipment. A degree in Electrical Engineering and 1–3 years of relevant experience are required. The role involves collaboration within teams, solving complex problems, and contributing to innovative engineering solutions.

Competenze

• 1–3 years of experience in the transport infrastructure sector (roads, motorways, and railways).
• Knowledge of English; French (B2) desirable.
• Car B licence.

Junior Electrical Engineer

Location: Milan (MI) - Italy

The Electrical Engineer will be included in the Engineering – Systems/Plants area.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical power supply and distribution.
• Illumination for open road and tunnel environments.
• Traffic monitoring and management equipment.
• Special systems such as video surveillance, fire detection, data transmission, communication and SOS.
• Electromechanical systems such as tunnel ventilation and firefighting systems.
• System management automation, including the development of procedures and algorithms, and their functional field verification.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in the transport infrastructure sector (roads, motorways, and railways).
• Knowledge of the Office suite, AUTOCAD, and specific software for dimensioning electrical installations and special systems.
• Knowledge of English; French (B2) desirable.
• Car B licence.
• Registration with the Order of Engineers or willingness to register.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Propensity for problem solving.
• Result‑orientation and proactivity.
• Knowledge of software for design with BIM methodology (Revit MEP, Dynamo, Infraworks) is welcome.
