A financial recruitment firm is seeking a Junior Broker in Rome. The role involves supporting brokers with daily tasks, ensuring accurate trade records, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and global offices. Candidates should possess strong mental arithmetic and some knowledge of financial markets. This position is full-time and presents an opportunity to grow within a diverse team. Responsibilities
  • Supporting Brokers with their daily activities
  • Ensuring all trades are recorded and inputted accurately, in a timely fashion
  • Liaising and maintaining strong relationships with other global offices
  • Liaising with the middle and back office to follow up any issues regarding trades
  • Checking banks credit for trades
  • Regularly updating all platforms with the latest data
  • Producing date sheets for the fixing and value dates of trades
  • Liaising regularly with clients to maintain strong relationships
  • Ensuring that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies and external regulations that relate to you and your role
  • Being aware of and compliant with operational risk requirements (e.g. behaviour, security policies & regulatory requirements)
  • Any other duties reasonably requested
Key Skills and Experience Required
  • Ability to be self‑sufficient, a quick thinker
  • Basic knowledge of Financial Markets
  • General business administration experience
  • Strong mental arithmetic
