A dynamic digital gift card company in Milan seeks a detail-oriented Junior Accounting Assistant to support daily accounting operations. The role involves basic accounting entries, account reconciliation, e-invoicing, and administrative tasks. Ideal candidates should have a diploma or bachelor's in a relevant field, strong Excel skills, and good communication abilities. Previous internship experience in an administrative or accounting role is a plus. This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in a collaborative finance team environment.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations and gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and administrative activities within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the recording of basic accounting entries (customer / supplier invoices, general ledger, expense reports).
  • Assist in account reconciliation activities (bank, customers, suppliers).
  • Help manage e-invoicing and document archiving.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities (reconciliations, reports).
  • Collaborate in preparing VAT returns and other tax compliance activities.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks (document management, database updates).
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting or a bachelor's degree (completed or in progress) in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Basic knowledge of general accounting principles and bookkeeping.
  • Good command of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of English (A2–B1 level).
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience (even internship) in administrative or accounting roles.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Zucchetti, DocFinance, or similar).
  • Basic understanding of VAT regulations and the purchase / sales invoice process.
