Ideal candidates will have a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, at least 5 years of experience, and expertise in Agile methodologies. Competenze

Job Purpose

MSC Cruises is the world’s third-largest cruise brand and a leader in Europe, South America, the Gulf region, and Southern Africa, with significant market share and capacity. As an IT Scrum Master, your primary role is to lead and manage technology projects, ensuring the successful execution of Agile Release Trains (ARTs) within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will drive delivery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and foster continuous improvement to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Key Accountabilities
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to transform requirements into efficient solutions, ensuring quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness. Report to IT leadership, drive end-to-end delivery, facilitate Agile processes, and focus on high-value solutions.
  • Lead Scrum and SAFe ceremonies, support teams during PI Planning, and collaborate with Release Train Engineers for alignment across teams.
  • Define project scopes and objectives with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively, develop mitigation strategies, and implement measures to minimize impact.
  • Conduct code quality assessments and provide recommendations to technical teams.
Qualifications
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a consulting firm or large organization, with a successful track record in agile initiatives, project management, and technical leadership.
  • Experience in software design and development using Java, J2EE, and open-source java stacks.
  • Experience with Flights topics (Amadeus, Travelport API), Revenue and Sales topics (Pricing, inventory, promos), or Robotic Process Automation (UiPath) is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, SQL, ORM, and NoSQL databases.
  • Expertise in Agile methodologies (SCRUM, KANBAN, SAFe certifications are a plus).
  • Knowledge of integration layers and DevOps tools (GITLAB, NEXUS, SONAR).
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
