The Information Technology (IT) Support Technician works under the supervision of the IT Services Delivery Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining and supporting client computer hardware, software, and peripherals, and troubleshooting computer issues organization-wide.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Handling service requests via ticket system, phone, email, or in person; providing remote or onsite troubleshooting; managing requests based on priority and SLA guidelines.
  • Supporting Windows laptops/desktops with installation, maintenance, configuration, and issue resolution.
  • Providing basic support for networking, printing, and IP telephony systems.
  • Documenting issue resolutions and work performed.
  • Managing user accounts, including password management, creation, modifications, and deletions.
  • Setting up client systems for new employees, relocations, or hardware replacements.
  • Coordinating with the Purchasing Coordinator to maintain IT asset inventory and assist with purchase requisitions.
  • Supporting the Systems and Network Administrators with projects or emergency issues.
  • Participating in weekly on-call rotations for emergency response.
  • Assisting with documentation of expenditures, preparing reports, and supporting budget processes.
  • Maintaining good relationships with vendors, management, and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field plus 3 years of experience, preferably in healthcare, OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field plus 2 years of relevant experience.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
