About The Role

As a Industrial Engineering Manager you will drive operative excellence in the shop by standardizing and improving the manufacturing processes. You will report to the Nuclear Operations Manager and be located at our facility in Monfalcone, Italy. You will have a hybrid working schedule of up to 3 days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure safety, health and regulatory compliance within the group and within the work produced
  • Guide the implementation of clear and reliable manufacturing standards
  • Monitor the shop execution to identify gaps compared to the standards and propose the corrective actions
  • Drive Innovation and identify improvements to existing manufacturing processes prioritizing automation initiatives
  • Implementation and integration of the Global Competency Model into all aspects of managing personnel
  • Assure that the Industrial Engineering team is equipped with appropriate processes and the right tools to understand, monitor and define the manufacturing processes
  • Establish priorities and align resources to achieve business objectives
  • Manage direct reports in their respective responsibilities to achieve yearly goals
  • Propose Investments initiatives to improve manufacturing processes
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews with all direct reports
Qualifications
  • Master Degree in Engineering
  • 12+ years of Engineering/Manufacturing experience with 5 years in leadership in mechanical and manufacturing environment
  • Experience in welding, carpentry and machining manufacturing processes
  • Look for opportunities to improve manufacturing processes
  • Drive process decisions
  • Use each team member to their fullest potential
  • Motivate team to work together
  • Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members
  • Experienced in working with and managing multicultural teams
  • Coach, develop, mentor employees and support succession planning
  • Italian and English (C1 advanced level)
