Industrial Controller

What you will do

Support the integrated supply chain Controlling function, partnering with the Central Logistic Organization. Develop and deploy a new set of tools for financial analyses on primary and secondary logistics performance to improve data visibility and enable informed business decisions. The role involves high exposure to top management, strong analytical skills, environmental awareness, and the ability to influence while acting as a reliable business partner driving actions and supporting strategy.

Managerial Responsibilities
  • Develop harmonized reporting for Business and Finance Leadership
  • Drive process improvement in the Logistic Area in cooperation with the Central Logistic team
  • Ensure accurate representation of Logistic costs in product cost for new and existing products
  • Collaborate with Markets, Product Lines and central team to identify areas for improvement and productivity actions
  • Guarantee visibility to the corporation about Logistics performance
Controlling Responsibilities
  • Support Controlling and Reporting activities; provide visibility of performances on primary and secondary logistic costs to the Logistic team and broader organization
  • Month End Closure (MEC) Reporting Process: Logistic variances; Monthly forecast
  • Coordinate Budget process and Logistics Standard costs calculation
  • Drive visibility on business opportunities through one-off analyses and business cases
  • Enable tracking of business performance versus Target
  • Ensure C-SOX requirements adherence and full compliance to group policies
  • Develop clear guidelines and internal policies to drive standardization of tools and processes
  • Coordinate the resource in charge of transfer price calculation
Supporting Role
  • Provide cross-functional support and guidance to Group integrated supply chain controller
  • Participate in regular meetings supporting logistic transformation
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support the finance transformation journey
What you need to succeed

Must have

Education: University degree in Economics, Engineering management

Professional experience: Integrated Supply Chain controlling experience +5 years, international profile (ideally)

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of accounting and a 360-degree understanding of procurement, logistics and manufacturing operations
  • Good knowledge of internal control setup
  • Ability to simplify complex processes and drive implementation
  • Good knowledge of Excel, SAP, HFM (preferred), Data warehousing, Oracle EPM suite

Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills to drive execution
  • Strong functional independence and ability to partner with stakeholders
  • Strong resilience, ability to challenge status quo, initiate and drive continuous change
  • Management Experience in a Multinational Environment (strongly recommended)
  • Management Experience in Manufacturing Environment (Preferred)
  • Good interpersonal and networking skills within the finance function and broader team
  • Ability to operate in a matrix organization
  • Results-oriented, proactive, solution-focused
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Willingness to evolve within an international finance community

Language: English and Italian (required). Any other international language is considered a plus
