A leading shipping and logistics company is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to oversee Health, Safety and Environmental activities across Italy. The role requires a degree in Safety Engineering or a related field and at least five years of experience in HSE, particularly in the oil & gas sector. Candidates must have a good command of Italian and English, and be willing to travel. This position promotes operational autonomy in a culture focused on sustainability and safety.

Competenze

• At least 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in oil & gas or construction.
• Knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Excellent command of Italian and good proficiency in English.

We are looking for a new HSE Supervisor to support our Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure and Construction sites throughout Italy.

This role offers substantial operational autonomy within a solid environment focused on sustainability and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate HSE activities on construction sites and production facilities.
• Verify and update HSE documentation (DVR, DUVRI, POS, PSC).
• Monitor compliance with Italian HSE regulations and company procedures.
• Participate in audits, inspections, technical meetings and investigations of near‑miss incidents and non‑conformities, proposing corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and monitor HSE KPIs, reporting and mandatory documentation.
• Collaborate with HSE managers, project managers and contractors to ensure compliance and operational standards.
• Provide training and awareness to internal staff and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Degree in Safety Engineering, Prevention Techniques or related discipline, or a technical diploma in environmental engineering or safety.
• At least 5 years of experience in HSE, preferably in oil & gas, construction sites or similar environments.
• Knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Good command of digital tools and HSE management software.
• Strong teamwork, communication, problem‑solving and risk‑analysis skills.
• Excellent command of Italian and good proficiency in English.
• Willingness to travel nationally.

Additional Skills

• Leadership operational and ability to interact in multi‑stakeholder contexts.
• Experience with ASPP qualification (modules A and B) is preferred.
