HOTEL OPERATIONS MANAGER

The AC Hotel Milan Sesto by Marriott is looking for a Hotel Operations Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of all hotel departments: Sales and Marketing, F&B, FO, Revenue and Reservation, HR, Administration
  • Ensure all operational departments adhere to hotel policies and procedures
  • Implement strategies to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve overall profitability
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure seamless coordination and problem-solving in operations
  • Guide and develop the leaders in individual departments
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, health and safety regulations, and brand standards
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and guest satisfaction
  • Ensure all guest-facing departments deliver excellent service and handle special requests efficiently
  • Work closely with the HR department to recruit, train, and develop staff across all operational areas
  • Assist the General Manager in budget preparation and ensure cost-effective operational strategies
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team morale and productivity
  • Monitor departmental budgets and expenditures, ensuring financial goals are met
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
  • Ensure that all departments comply with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Oversee the implementation of security protocols to ensure guest and employee safety
  • Coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and meet safety standards
  • Assist in planning and executing special events, conferences, and meetings to ensure smooth operations
  • Report regularly to the General Manager on operational performance, challenges, and areas for improvement
  • Maintain clear and effective communication between departments to ensure smooth hotel operations
  • Monitor and managing guest feedback to maximize guest experience
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Proven experience managing multiple departments in a hotel setting
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality industry
  • Proficiency in hotel management software Opera
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
