Create a better tomorrow with us. We are looking for a Head of Proposal Management – Customer Service with solid experience in medium voltage, protection, and automation systems. The position is based in Milan, within the Electrification and Automation Area, and will be offered as a permanent contract.

Your Challenge

As Head of Proposal Management – Customer Service, you will lead the team in managing the daily flow of requests as well as complex bids and projects, focusing on both the technical and economic phases. You will ensure that product and system offers are prepared on time and in line with both customer and company requirements, while also guaranteeing the technical integrity of the proposals, including full compliance with the technical scope and project specifications.

Moreover, you will work closely with the Sales Department and Management to support order acquisition, and with the Project Execution team to ensure a smooth and effective handover.

Key Activities
  • Inspire, develop, and empower team members, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Define priorities, set clear objectives, and provide regular feedback to enhance performance and motivation.
  • Drive the preparation of technical and commercial offers for revamping, retrofit, and modernization projects across medium voltage systems, protection systems, and SCADA.
  • Coordinate internal resources and ensure alignment with technical scope, deadlines, and customer expectations.
  • Manage workload distribution and ensure continuous improvement in team performance and efficiency.
  • Standardize proven concepts and solutions to replicate them as function packages.
  • Act as a key interface with internal and external stakeholders, including close and ongoing collaboration with headquarters counterparts.
  • Support the Sales team in negotiations and contribute to the commercial strategy to maximize win rates.
Required Experience & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in leading small but high-potential teams, with strong coaching skills and the ability to develop people, structure processes, and guide the team through a phase of growth and increasing complexity.
  • Experience in customer service offering of MV portfolio or protection and automation systems and solutions.
  • Knowledge of the medium/high voltage distribution and power generation market, understanding of electrical systems, distribution networks, electrical schemes, and tender specifications.
  • Direct experience in Customer Service, with a strong track record in technical sales support for revamping and retrofit solutions.
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electrical / Energy Engineering.
  • Passion for continuous learning and growth.
  • Respect for diversity and a collaborative mindset, with willingness to co‑create and share knowledge.
  • Fluency in Italian and English.
  • Eligibility to work in Italy.
