Responsibilities

• Develop and Deploy Full‑Stack Capabilities: Transform user stories from concept to outcome; clarify needs, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production.
• Identify and Resolve Bugs: Diagnose issues using root cause analysis, address underlying problems (rather than surface symptoms), and prevent regressions through strategic testing.
• Elevate Code Standards: Assess plans and pull requests for clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from accumulating.

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Creating pixel‑perfect interfaces or intricate backends as ends in themselves.
• Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem.
• Spending time in prolonged meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders.
• Simply delivering features; you’ll own the responsibility for solving genuine problems.

Basic Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
• Proven ownership: Demonstrated track record owning entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions.
• Self‑sufficient execution: Capability to unblock yourself, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in uncertain circumstances.
• Practical experience using generative A.I. in your daily development workflow.

Working with us

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
