Overview

As Field Service Engineer Central Italy, you will be executing all service activities on the installed base technical equipment across customers, including but not exclusive to installation, maintenance, diagnosis, emergency repairs as planned by the local operation in accordance with Quality and Health & Safety regulations. Your role is essential in ensuring our customers receive the best support, as well as product training & escalation of more complex issues. This will be a full field-based role requiring extensive travel around assigned area and might include overnights on some occasions. Candidates should be based in Central Italy, ideally Rome area.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and emergency repairs of Bio-Rad equipment at customer sites
• Maximising equipment performance and customer satisfaction in accordance with Bio-Rad guidelines
• Working with the sales and wider customer support team to keep up to date with workloads & business requirements
• Provide training to customers and staying up to date on our product offerings

What You Bring

• At least 2 years’ experience in a Field Service Engineering role
• Customer facing experience
• Excellent time management skills
• Fluent in Italian & working level English
• Strong IT & networking knowledge
• Up to date computer knowledge including MS office
• Availability to travel on a daily basis; full driving license is essential as the role requires extensive travel around assigned area and might include overnights in some occasions.
