Context and Purpose of the job

You will join the Fashion Design Department and, in particular, you will be part of the Emporio Armani Junior team. As a Fashion Designer, you will play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new junior clothing collections that resonate with our target audience. You will collaborate closely with the design team and other departments to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and style.

Responsibilities

• Research trends through the analysis and identification of trends and moods relating to the season
• Design, freehand and with the support of dedicated software, the junior clothing collection
• Collaborate with the Emporio Armani Men’s and Women’s RTW Design teams to develop take-downs from the Adult line
• Work with the Merchandising team to develop a collection consistent with the brand’s DNA and commercial needs
• Collaborate with the Product Development team to bring the collection to fruition

Requirements

• Degree in Fashion Design
• Previous experience in fashion design
• Good freehand drawing ability
• Excellent knowledge of the Office Suite and graphics programs (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Fluency in both Italian and English
• Precision and attention to detail
• Excellent ability to work in team
• Passion for fashion
• Strong interest in collections for newborns, kids and teenagers
