External Production Development Specialist

In our Electrification Business Area, in the Smart Buildings division located in Santa Palomba, we are looking for an External Production Development Specialist. Your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the manufacturing processes of the supplier base, at LPG level.
• Lead supplier efficiency evaluation, monitoring robustness of external manufacturing setup (i.e., OEE, equipment effectiveness) and ensuring compliance of production processes with targets of safety, cost, on-time delivery and quality.
• Drive improvement projects aimed at increasing supplier performance, leveraging ABB manufacturing best practices and Lean Six Sigma tools and methodology.
• Drive footprint projects in international environments, assuring team coordination and project targets achievement.
• Report to External Production Development Manager and cooperate closely with the Industrial Engineering function and LPG operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Energetic, Mechanical or Automation Engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Availability for international business travel
