Overview

The Engineer is primarily responsible for the detailed design and engineering of industrial electric heating systems and components. This includes the development of custom heating solutions for a variety of industrial applications, ensuring compliance with international standards and coordination with global teams.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include

• Review engineering orders for electric heating systems, assessing time requirements, technical complexity, and compliance with customer specifications and applicable standards and certifications.
• Design and development of heating elements, control panels, and complete heating systems using Thermon engineering tools.
• Coordination with engineering teams in other locations for project handovers and technical alignment.
• Day-to-day management of engineering projects within the Italian office, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Provide technical support for internal teams and clients, including troubleshooting and resolution of design‑related issues.
• Conduct on‑site support activities such as installation supervision, commissioning, training, and diagnostics.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to develop technical proposals, cost estimations, and revisions tailored to customer needs.
• Liaise with external sales representatives to support key accounts and strategic projects.
• Review and validate engineering drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
