A leading technology company is looking for an Electrical Manufacturing Engineer in Liguria. The role involves defining manufacturing processes, supporting production, and participating in continuous improvement activities. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, extensive manufacturing experience—preferably in the railway sector—and proficiency in tools like AutoCAD and ERP software. Excellent English skills and a commitment to safety and ergonomics are essential for this position.

  • Good EHS and Ergonomic approach.
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Experience in writing manufacturing work instructions.

Mansioni

  • Define and validate the manufacturing process for new products.
  • Drive continuous improvement actions during production.
  • Prepare documentation such as Wiring Drawings and Work Instructions.

Conoscenze

EHS and Ergonomic approach
Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering
Experience with AutoCAD Wiring Drawings
Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP)
Good English knowledge (written and spoken)

Electrical Manufacturing Engineer
Purpose of the job
  • Defines and validate the detailed manufacturing process for a new product, with focus on the electrical tasks.
  • Perform industrial documentation for the project, define industrial master data and set the manufacturing method time.
  • In serial phase, drive continuous improvement actions, industrialize product and process changes.
Responsibilities
During specification and preliminary design phases
  • Bring ideas to the Process Engineer or the Product Industrialization Manager to guide product definition to improve the product manufacturability and achieve SQCDP targets.
  • Participate to the product design reviews.
  • Estimate Method Time.
During detailed design phase and before Serial Go
  • Participate to P-FMEA.
  • Participate to validation of prototypes.
  • Request tooling and write tooling specifications.
  • Prepare Wiring Drawings, Wiring Tables, Cable List, Tooling List, ERP Routings, Work Instructions, Inspection Instructions.
  • Validate product design and industrialization through FAR and FAI.
  • Calculate precise Method Time.
After serial go
  • Industrialize retrofit after engineering changes: Wiring Drawings, Wiring Tables, Cable List, Tooling List, Routings, Work Instructions, and Tooling.
  • Support Production to achieve manufacturing SQCDP targets.
  • Participate to continuous improvement workshops.
  • Contribute to industrial Return of Experience on manufacturing processes.
Qualifications & Functional Knowledge
  • good EHS and Ergonomic approach.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Manufacturing experience, preferably in the railway industry.
  • Technical knowledge of Manufacturing Engineering, writing manufacturing work instructions.
  • Experience in working with AutoCAD Wiring Drawings
  • Experience in working with CATIA, DMA, DELMIA and ELSA software.
  • Experience in working with an ERP (such as SAP) for Bill of Materials, Routings, Configuration follow-up.
  • Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards and Ergonomics.
  • Experience in FMEA and QRQC.
  • Time analysis knowledge (MTM, MEK, UAS).
  • Good English knowledge (written and spoken)
