The Early Innovation & Partnerships in Automation and Digital within Tetra Pak is now looking for a Digital Engineering Expert to join the team. We are searching for a person taking the full responsibility and driving innovation development activities with focus in Digital and Mechatronic solutions.

Responsibilities

The Early Innovation & Partnership team is responsible to lead exploration activities in the area of digital automation and mechatronic solutions, helping in scouting and consolidating new technologies available in the market that will further improve performance quality and sustainably of current and future Tetra Pak equipment (for our customers)

• Drive development activities related to Digital Engineering and Mechatronic solutions
• Drive Technical relationship management with key Automation & Mechatronic suppliers
• Scout new technologies with suppliers and external partners, driving customization of their solutions

Location

You will be based in Modena, Italy.

Who you are

We believe you have :

• Master Degree in Automation, mechatronic, electrical engineering or similar disciplines is required
• Expertise in control software (PLC)
• Experience in supplier relationship
• Experience with Beckhoff systems and motion control software
• Basic programming skills (Python)
• Understanding of Mechatronics systems
• Knowledge on UI / UX is considered a plus
• Any experience with deep learning and machine learning is considered a plus
• As a person you are innovative and motivated, with good communication and leadership skills.
• You have a structured and analytical way of thinking.
• You are a good team player who is able to manage long term relations.
• You are skilled in English, both written and spoken, with availability to travel abroad on monthly basis.
• Wide technology know-how and skills to bring existing technology into new areas are always on your mind in an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong personal drive and very high interest in technical solutions
