A technology firm in Bologna is seeking a DevOps Engineer with advanced Linux administration and deep expertise in Ansible. This role involves installing and hardening Ubuntu OS, managing TLS/mTLS certificates, and configuring networking security. The candidate should support other engineers during integration and testing. Competenze

• Knowledge of advanced Linux administration, preferably with Ubuntu 22.04.

DEVOPS ENGINEER 1

Know-How Advanced Linux administration (Ubuntu 22.04) Deep Ansible expertise PKI / TLS / mTLS and certificate lifecycle management Networking and firewall fundamentals NiFi, ZooKeeper, Registry deployment know-how Monitoring stack experience (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager)

Responsibilities & detailed tasks

Install and harden Ubuntu OS (baseline security, users, logging, updates) Configure networking, DNS, routing validation, firewall rules Set up & operate internal Certificate Authority (CA hierarchy, policies) Generate and distribute all server / client certificates via Ansible Deploy and secure OpenLDAP (LDAPS), InfluxDB v3, Prometheus / Grafana / Alertmanager Implement full Ansible automation (roles, tasks, inventories, idempotency) Validate TLS / mTLS and solve SAN errors, handshake issues, hostname mismatches Support DevOps Engineer 2 & NiFi Engineer during integration and testing

DEVOPS ENGINEER 2

Know-How Strong Linux administration Solid Ansible experience (roles, variables, Vault) Understanding of TLS, tokens, certificates Familiarity with NiFi and monitoring stacks

Responsibilities & detailed tasks

Assist DevOps 1 in OS baseline, firewall, and network configuration Build Ansible roles for : LDAP, InfluxDB, monitoring stack Configure Prometheus scrape jobs (mTLS) and Grafana datasources Build initial monitoring dashboards for cluster and flow metrics Generate InfluxDB write / read tokens; assist with secure parameterisation Test automation flows (redeploy, partial rebuild, rollback capability) Support flow rollout and troubleshoot connectivity or cluster-related issues
