The Role: Demand Planner

At Stone Island we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for an engaged and passionate Demand Planner who can join the Omnichannel Planning & Allocation Team at the Stone Island HQ in Milan.

As a Demand Planner within the HQ Omnichannel Planning & Allocation Team, you will be responsible for forecasting demand for CarryOver products, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure product availability meets market needs and business objectives. Fluent in English and Italian, the ideal candidate combines strong analytical and organizational skills with a keen interest in fashion.

Your Impact
  • Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and seasonal patterns.
  • Collaborate with Planning, Merchandising and Production to gather insights and align forecasts with business strategies.
  • Monitor and report forecast accuracy and inventory KPIs.
  • Support product lifecycle planning, including new launches and phase‑outs.
  • Maintain and improve forecasting tools and systems.
  • Lead monthly demand planning meetings and facilitate consensus forecasting with main stakeholders.
  • Analyze slow‑moving inventory and recommend actions to optimize stock levels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistic, Engineering or related field.
  • 1/3 years of experience in demand planning, preferably in fashion or retail.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency all Office suite in particular Excel.
  • Use of Microstrategy and Board will be considered a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
