A leading consumer goods company is seeking a Demand Planner for their Customer Service & Demand Management Team based in Legnano, Italy. The role involves analyzing historical demand, developing a base Demand Plan, generating new product forecasts, and engaging with the Sales Force on operational issues. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Economics, proven experience in Demand Planning in the FMCG industry, and be fluent in Italian and English. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and SAP are required.

For our Customer Service & Demand Management Team we are seeking a Demand Planner ( Fixed Term Contract ) based in Legnano who will have the opportunity to work on Global Brands such as Tempo Nuvenia TENA and DemakUp.

About the Role

The Demand Planner is responsible for owning facilitating and the administration of local company sales forecasting and Demand Management for their respective area of responsibility.

What You Will Do

• Analyzing historical demand and filter out outliers identifying the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm
• Developing the base Demand Plan using the most appropriate statistical forecasting algorithm and adjust where necessary
• Generating the new product forecast using the historical substitution and like modelling / scenario planning techniques agreed with Marketing and Category Management
• Understanding the impact of the customer buying pattern
• Communicating effectively and engaging the Sales Force on operational issues
