Una società di consulenza globale cerca un Senior Consultant in Deal Strategy a Bologna. Il candidato ideale avrà 2/3 anni di esperienza in consulenza strategica o in azienda, con interesse nelle attività di M&A. Responsabilità includono supporto in transazioni aziendali, analisi di mercato e creazione di piani strategici. Do Work That Matters - Your role and responsibilities

At KPMG Advisory, you will help clients, the company and colleagues address and solve current and complex challenges. KPMG Advisory offers consulting services to assist with business model transformation, process improvement, digitisation, risk analysis and management, and support in extraordinary finance transactions.

Our Deal Strategy team provides support in M&As, from pre-deal evaluation to post-deal integration or separation, focusing on defining and quantifying value creation levers. As a member of this team, you will work in close contact with lenders, shareholders and managers at all levels, supporting clients in corporate finance transactions using digital tools and technology in daily work.

Join our teams in Bologna where you will gain experience supporting shareholders and management of client companies in solving complex business challenges, from strategy definition to execution of value creation initiatives, with a focus on the Pre-Deal Business / Operational Due Diligence, Business Planning and Post-Deal Integration phases.

Specifically, you will be tasked with :
  • Business & Strategic Planning : You’ll work alongside C-level executives to assess the business in a short time frame and define / quantify improvement actions to present to investors and stakeholders.
  • Business & Commercial Due Diligence : You’ll analyze business dynamics, market, and competition for potential targets, working with private equity funds and other buyers.
  • Identification and review of synergies in a pre and post deal phase. Support in the implementation of tracking models of the synergies identified in the execution phase.
  • Synergy assessment and execution : You will analyze all potential synergies in a pre and post deal phase, supporting end-to-end the client from the quantification phase to the implementation / tracking of the identified synergies.
  • Integration & Separation Management Office : You will define and drive Day 1 Readiness plan, D100 Integration plan, definition of Target Operating Model, etc.
Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics
  • At least 2 / 3 years of experience from either a strategy consulting firm or the strategy or business development function of an industrial, consumer or retail company with activity focus on revenue growth initiatives definition and management;
  • A master / 's degree in business subjects and, preferably, additional post-graduate courses in data science, business analytics and digital innovation;
  • A keen interest in pre and post M&A deal activities;
  • An analytical approach and ability to interpret data and KPIs;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Italian & English;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Knowledge of data and analytics tools (e.g., Power, BI and Qlik) is preferred.
  • Flexible to travel for work in Italy and abroad
