JOB PURPOSE

The ideal candidate will work in the worldwide Data Analytics team based in Milan and will be responsible for managing and coordinating end-to-end data visualization projects. This includes collecting business requirements, designing the most appropriate and efficient data model, and implementing the final data visualization solution, including custom visuals if needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and Implement Data Solutions: Create efficient and effective data solutions for reporting and analysis, working with key stakeholders to build dashboards using enterprise tools like Power BI.
  • Collect Requirements: Gather technical and business requirements from stakeholders, understand their needs, and support them in designing the optimal data visualization solution.
  • ETL and Data Manipulation: Build and deploy highly efficient and scalable ETL processes using big data and cloud technologies (e.g., Databricks), collaborating with other IT colleagues such as DWH owners and Data Architects.
  • Development skills: SQL, hands‑on experience consuming and integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL), and proven ability to build custom data visualizations (e.g., Power BI custom visuals using TypeScript/React, or libraries such as D3.js/Vega‑Lite).
  • Stakeholder Communication: Periodically update main stakeholders about the progress and maintenance of solutions development.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • + 2 years in data analytics and BI roles.
  • Strong experience with Power BI, designing and implementing dashboards for both desktop and mobile use, and innovative and advanced data analysis tools for enterprises.
  • Experience with custom visuals tools.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Maths, or related STEM discipline.
  • Familiarity with data warehouse environments (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and cloud-based data platforms is a plus. Experience with Qlik Sense is a plus.
  • Preferred experience with Agile project management.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
