Overview

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Senior Engineer to join our Group Security Engineering team. The candidate will be involved in strategic and operational activities related to the adoption, evaluation, and implementation of cybersecurity solutions, playing a key role in defining security architectures and leading technical projects. The ideal candidate has a solid background in cybersecurity, a strong inclination toward innovation, and deep knowledge of cloud technologies and data protection topics.

What you'll be doing

• Scouting and evaluation of cybersecurity technologies, with attention to innovation and market evolution.
• Drafting and analysis of RFIs, RFPs, and management of POCs/POVs for selecting the most suitable solutions.
• Setup and initiation of implementation projects, acting as a technical leader in collaboration with a dedicated Project Manager.
• Support to Security Architects in defining target architectures and selecting appropriate technologies.
• Third-level support for managing complex security incidents and operational issues.

What you\'ll need to succeed

Technical Skills:

• Solid experience in cybersecurity with in-depth knowledge of:
• Cloud Security: key competence for the role, with experience in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP), including:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS GuardDuty, Azure Defender)
• Secure design & configuration of IaaS/PaaS environments
• DevSecOps and security automation in CI/CD pipelines
• Network Security (NGFW, IDS/IPS, NAC, VPN, segmentation, ZTNA, etc.)
• Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR, advanced antivirus, hardening)
• Server Security (OS, patch management, access control)
• SIEM & Log Management solutions
• Data Security: data protection in transit and at rest, data classification, DLP.
• Encryption & Cryptography: knowledge of cryptographic protocols, key management solutions(KMS, HSM), PKI.
• Familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001, CIS Controls, GDPR).
• Proficiency in English
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in technical roles in the cybersecurity sector
