About the role
The position of Contracts Manager (Southern and Central Europe) will provide advice, support, and direction to the Southern and Central European sales organizations in two key areas:
1) Commercial Contract Management
2) Strategic Pricing Support
You will be required to champion best practices, ensuring procedures are of a high standard, as well as developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external contacts.
Dedication to performance against KPIs is critical for success in this role.
Key responsibilities
Responsible for providing advice and support related to commercial contracts (e.g., professional services agreements, data processing agreements, and non-disclosure agreements).
The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
End-to-end Contract Management:
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure risk mitigation while maximizing opportunities, in compliance with internal escalation guidelines;
- Negotiate with clients on various commercial contracts, including services agreements, NDAs, Data Processing Agreements, and Master Services Agreements;
- Take ownership of complex non-standard agreements or client agreements;
- Provide contractual support for tender responses, working closely with the Bid Management team to deliver competitive and compliant bids;
- Manage regional templates, localize and translate standard contract templates where applicable, and maintain these templates;
- Ensure the use of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, including acting as the local escalation point for CLM sales support;
Pricing
- Support and advise on the acquisition of new business and renewals by reviewing product mix opportunities, pricing, gross margin assumptions, utilization rates, and client-specific requirements, then collaborate with various functions to deliver standard or develop non-standard offers to meet client needs, conforming to group guidelines;
- Support the Sales team in acquiring approved pricing as per the product matrix, including capturing deviations;
- Support complex pricing models for tender responses.
About you
Required Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to draft contract terms and conditions in English and Italian;
- Attention to detail, reviewing contracts for conformity to policies, and identifying and assessing risks;
- Strong working knowledge of the Italian regulatory landscape, including compliance requirements, industry standards, and relevant legal frameworks;
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management tools is desirable.

Required Work Experience
- Solid experience in independently drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts;
- Experience with data privacy;
- Pricing, sales, or finance experience is preferred but not required (openness to learn is critical);
- Proven commercial experience working directly with sales teams and business managers.
Required Languages
- Fluent verbal and written skills in Italian and English.
