Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a timely, accurate, and high-quality clearing, cleaning, and setting up tables, chairs, linens, china, glass, and silver flatware in an unobtrusive way to have everything prepared for guest service.
- Check and refill condiment containers according to HACCP standards and hotel regulations.
- Support or deliver small items such as soups or beverages when needed or requested.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality clearing, cleaning, and laying of buffets.
- Provide excellent service by welcoming guests, offering water, beverages, bread, and butter, and fulfilling their requests following hotel standards.
- Be ready to attend to guest needs and fulfill requests promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with the Chef de Rang to ensure food deliveries from the kitchen meet hotel standards.
Qualifications
- Hotel School diploma with high grades.
- Minimum of 2 years experience, preferably at a high-level restaurant or hotel in a similar role.
- Flexibility and willingness to cooperate with other restaurant lines as needed.
- Strong guest-centric attitude, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, punctuality, and proactivity.
- Excellent team working skills and flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- Maintains top-level grooming and appearance.
- Strict compliance with HACCP, hotel hygiene standards, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Legal right to work in Italy.
