The Role

Reporting to the Regional Manager, the City Manager is a unique opportunity to join the Italian Commercial team. You will build relationships with restaurant partners, enhance our customer proposition, and identify growth opportunities.

This role suits someone who enjoys relationship building and data-driven insights for growth.

What You'll Do

  • Be the local expert for your city(s), understanding the restaurant industry and representing Deliveroo locally.
  • Use data insights to improve our customer offering neighborhood by neighborhood.
  • Manage top restaurant partners, leading negotiations and optimizing their performance on Deliveroo.
  • Coordinate with the local account management team to promote local hero brands.
  • Develop and implement city signing strategies for success.
  • Own the city’s P&L, understanding key KPIs and influencing them.
  • Map out local sales strategies, identifying gaps and focus areas.
  • Enhance the local customer experience through better selection and restaurant operations, collaborating with regional and operational teams.
  • Maximize marketing opportunities by encouraging restaurant participation.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in Trade Marketing or account / relationship management.
  • Results and target-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding and managing P&L.
  • Business acumen and data-driven approach.
  • Field-based work (2-3 days / week) combined with office / home working.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills via face-to-face, phone, or email.
