Join to apply for the Channel Account Manager role at PTC.

PTC is looking for talented, enthusiastic, and career-minded individuals to join our sales organization in Italy. Our current customer base includes a growing number of companies in a range of industries. We are looking for motivated sales professionals to work in these market segments which would include any manufacturer/end users looking to embrace Industry 4.0 and/or looking to empower Digital Transformation Strategy. Many of the world’s largest manufacturing companies are entering this fast‑paced tech space to create new revenue streams and offer greater visibility to how their specific products “live” in the real world. The sales team will require the skillset to translate the PTC value proposition into real‑world business value.

Your impact
  • Understanding and addressing the customer’s challenges regarding digital initiatives.
  • Starting from a selected list of prospect accounts and customers, propose and sell the award-winning PTC portfolio technologies (Windchill, Creo, Codebeamer, Vuforia, ThingWorx) in established industries (Discrete and Process MFG) while working closely with Channel Sales Representatives and Partner Sales Directors.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating and closing deals.
  • Build high‑level executive/SVP relationships for long‑term partnership.
  • Significantly extend the existing strategic relationship by expanding current engagements and winning new business divisions.
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients.
  • Deal with Partner Ecosystem (Resellers and System Integrators).
  • Perform sales calls at customer sites to find new opportunities.
  • Deal with Internal Ecosystem (Matrix Organization – Channel, Sales Product Specialist, Technical Community, and Customer Success Organization).
  • Forecast and assess revenue opportunities accurately.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Proven ability to plan and execute effectively to meet business objectives.
  • Excellent sales acumen and a disciplined hunter attitude.
  • Strong resilience with self‑motivation and integrity.
  • Knowledge of CAD, PLM, ALM, AR, and ERP solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and listening skills in English and Italian.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of experience in sales or sales‑related roles, ideally in Discrete and Process Manufacturing industries.

Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level.

Employment type: Full‑time.
