Job Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated TEAM LEADER who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Lecce - IT

Accountabilities

• Coordination of service / retrofit activities related to rail vehicle maintenance resources in the execution of Maintenance activities with a view to continuous cost / time / quality improvement.
• Managing the documentation related to ongoing maintenance the correct flow of use of specific tools and equipment for the performance of Service activities.
• Ensure the safety of maintenance locations by promoting compliance with current procedures taking care to report any non-conformities to their supervisors.
• Support the enhancement of skills and teamwork by leading the resources on their shift (7 / 7 h24).

Required Skills / Knowledge

• Experience in performing and managing maintenance activities preferably gained in the railroad industry.
• ANSF certifications - National Railway Safety Agency (COCS 30) - to work on train safety organs (preferred).

Education / Qualifications

High school diploma preferably Technical Expert (Mechanical Computer Electronic).

Languages

Proficiency in Italian is mandatory.

Basic knowledge of English (written and spoken)
