Mission

Reporting to the Origination Manager, you will be a member of the origination team, responsible for the identification and early development of renewable energy projects in Italy (solar, BESS; wind as a plus), from the initial assessment through internal investment approval and commercialization, ensuring alignment with company growth objectives as well as market trends and opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the Italian renewable energy market, prepare proposals, presentations and reports for potential projects and partnerships, to achieve the company\'s growth objectives.
  • Maintain and contribute to expand network of industry contacts for project sourcing, conduct research on public/private platforms and databases to identify potential project opportunities.
  • Show ownership in coordinating the deal flow for transactions aimed at creating new partnerships and expanding/optimizing our pipeline (e.g. manage data rooms, negotiations, relationship with partners).
  • Contribute to financial analysis and due diligence activities, to assess the viability and profitability of potential projects, partners and investments.
  • Prepare presentations, financial models, and business cases for internal approvals and investment committees.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including commercial developers, project developers, financial institutions and regulatory bodies, to promote and lead development initiatives.
  • Manage the development of assigned projects, providing support to Business Development Project Managers.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, timely reporting, and proactive follow-up on assigned tasks.
Job Requirements

Education

  • Master\'s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.

Experience

  • +4 years of experience in business development, financial analysis or related field in the renewable energy sector.

Technical Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the Italian renewable energy market.
  • Financial modeling, project valuation, and regulatory framework understanding.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with databases and sector platforms is a plus.
  • Native or very high level of Italian and high level of English (C1).

Soft Skills

  • Motivated, proactive, and disciplined professional with a high sense of ownership.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to manage multiple stakeholders.
