We have a fantastic opportunity to join our busy and growing International Private Client Team as a Business Development Manager.

Job Purpose

As our Business Development Manager in Italy, you’ll play a key role in expanding our presence by building trusted relationships with property professionals, legal and financial intermediaries, and international clients relocating to or investing in Italy.

Working closely with our Senior Business Development Manager and global team, you’ll focus on acquiring new clients, educating partners, and delivering exceptional value through our tailored currency solutions.

We’ll provide full support, training, and tools, while giving you the autonomy to manage your territory and build a network of high-quality referral partners, including real estate agents, lawyers, wealth managers, and relocation specialists via telephone, Teams and face‑to‑face visits.

Duties/Responsibilities
  • Establish and grow partnerships with real estate agents, tax and legal professionals, mortgage brokers, and relocation providers across Italy.
  • Drive new business through strategic networking, local events, and warm referral channels.
  • Guide clients through registration, currency planning, and their international transfers with clarity and personal care.
  • Monitor currency markets and assist clients in timing their transfers effectively, including the option to lock in favourable exchange rates.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with our UK Dealing Desk and wider European teams to ensure consistent, high‑quality service.
  • Nurture long‑term relationships with both partners and clients to support ongoing business and repeat transfers.
  • Represent GC Partners at relevant property, finance, and relocation events, promoting our services and strengthening our local presence.
Qualification & Experience
  • Fluent in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Based in Italy, with a strong local network or willingness to build one.
  • Experience in business development, ideally in financial services, real estate, or relocation.
  • Strong communicator with natural relationship‑building skills.
  • Proactive, self‑motivated, and confident working remotely.
  • A genuine interest in people, service excellence, and market insight.
  • Experience working with expats or international clients is a plus.
