We are looking for a visionary and dynamic Bars Manager ready to redefine the bar experience at the Thompson Hyatt Rome. This role will lead three unique outlets, curating innovative menus, energetic atmospheres, and standout guest moments. The ideal candidate combines creativity with strong leadership and business acumen, inspiring teams while elevating the hotel’s lifestyle identity and commercial.

The Bars Manager is a creative and innovative leader responsible for overseeing the operations of three distinct outlets within the Thompson Hyatt in Rome. This role involves menu creation, cost control, and maintaining a vibrant and engaging atmosphere that aligns with the hotel’s lifestyle brand. The Bars Manager will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue growth and fostering a dynamic team environment.

Leadership Profile

Main Duties
Administration
  • Ensure alignment of all bar operations with the hotel’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly update the Bars Operations Manual.
  • Conduct effective internal communications and team meetings to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of bar sales, inventory, and guest feedback.
Customer Service
  • Ensure all bar staff deliver on the brand promise and create memorable guest experiences.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of events, promotions, and specialized beverage campaigns.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance service delivery.
  • Resolve guest complaints efficiently, promoting a guest-centric culture.
Financial
  • Maximize productivity through effective team scheduling and resource management.
  • Monitor and control budgeted expenses for bar operations to achieve financial targets.
  • Collaborate with finance on revenue forecasting and budget planning.
  • Analyze performance metrics to drive profitability and revenue growth.
Marketing
  • Conduct regular market research to identify beverage trends and opportunities.
  • Lead innovative marketing campaigns that align with the lifestyle brand of the hotel.
  • Analyze campaign performance and adapt strategies to enhance revenue generation and guest engagement.
Operations
  • Oversee daily operations of all bar outlets to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms and outlets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics.
People & Talent Development
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding, and development of bar staff.
  • Ensure team members adhere to brand standards and performance expectations.
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship to enhance team capabilities and foster creativity.
Required Experience
  • Proven experience as a Bars Manager or in a senior bar leadership role.
  • Previous experience within a international hotel environment or a high-end, award-winning concept.
  • Strong operational background managing multiple outlets simultaneously.

International experience is considered a strong advantage.
