A leading research institute in Italy seeks a full-time researcher to maintain and develop the chemical informatics infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in computer science or related fields, along with strong Linux and Docker knowledge. Responsibilities include managing codes and databases, supporting users, and ensuring system interoperability. This position offers a yearly gross salary between €25,000 and €30,000, with flexible hours and teleworking options.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience or knowledge in Linux system administration is mandatory.
• Familiarity with Docker and Apptainer is necessary.

Mansioni

• Maintain and develop infrastructure codes.
• Manage and develop codes and databases for the infrastructure.
• Interact with users for troubleshooting and new features.

Linux system administration knowledge

Knowledge of Apptainer/Docker systems

Knowledge of Oracle SQL

Knowledge of Kubernetes

Knowledge of the Git versioning system

Good knowledge of the English language
