A leading aviation service provider is seeking Component Certifying Staff in Bergamo. The role requires hands-on maintenance of aircraft wheels and brakes, ensuring all inspection and certification tasks are completed accurately. Ideal candidates should have completed vocational training or hold an Aircraft Maintenance License (AML). Proficiency in English and knowledge of ERP systems is beneficial. Competenze

  • Proven completed vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field.
  • Possess an Aircraft Maintenance License relevant to release activity.
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance within the last 12 months.
  • Working knowledge of English for reading and writing maintenance data.

Mansioni

  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble aircraft wheels and brakes.
  • Certify work performed by others within the scope of authorizations.
  • Provide training to new staff and trainees.
  • Prepare and sign off job cards and issue Project Release to service.

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

FL Technics Wheels & Brakes Srl. specializes in the maintenance and repair of aircraft wheels and brakes.

To expand our team in Bergamo, we are looking for:

COMPONENT CERTIFYING STAFF

YOUR TASKS:

  • Carry out disassembling, cleaning, blasting, inspection/ testing and assembly of wheels and brakes as well as their substructure components within scope of authorizations
  • Rectification all defects founded on component during inspection within scope of authorizations
  • Certify work performed by others within scope of authorizations
  • Provide training to new staff and trainees as and when required
  • Use of maintenance data, carry out and sign-off job cards within scope of authorizations
  • Work/ task distribution to other in according to the qualification and experience, workload, work priorities
  • Issue Project Release to service and EASA FORM1 for components within scope of authorizations
  • Proper usage and storage of tools and equipment and ensuring all special equipment to be used according to approved manuals and having sufficient qualification, knowledge, experience

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:

  • Education: Proven completed vocational training/apprenticeship certificate in a field conducive to release activity of the aircraft wheels and brakes

or

  • An Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) related to the type and scope of the release activity

or

  • An aeronautical diploma or certificate from the relevant field, which is conducive to the release activity

or

  • Technical school diploma/certificate

or

  • Military diploma or certificate related to the release activity, aeronautical diploma or certificate
  • Experience qualification acquired within last 12 months of practical maintenance experience or equivalent experience at another approved aircraft or components maintenance organization - logbooks and/or company authorization certificates
  • English language - sufficient, reading & written, a working knowledge of the language in which the maintenance data is published (mainly in English)
  • Using and knowledge of the ERP system – AMOS (advantage)
