Responsibilities
As part of the staffing increase of Smart Engineering team, NTT DATA is looking for a FW/SW Embedded Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in Automotive field.
In particular, the selected resource will be responsible for developing SW/FW for embedded telematic devices with following job main accountabilities:
• Analysis of business and technical requirements
• Design of the Embedded SW solution, with or without reusing Custom kernel code
• Implementation of the Embedded SW for new telematic devices
• Maintenance on the Embedded SW of on-field telematic devices
• Writing of technical documentation
• Interaction with peers and with testing team
• Ensure the correct application of SW Quality Rules (e.g. MISRA C, versioning, reusability, code development best practices, etc.)
Mandatory Skills:
• BSc/MSc Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of C language
• At least 3 years’ experience within Embedded SW development on microcontrollers, using RTOS o as bare-metal
• Good knowledge of electronic system communication buses (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN)
• Ability to use laboratory instruments (oscilloscope, multimeter, protocol analyzer)
• Knowledge of the networking concepts (ISO OSI model, TCP/IP, UDP/IP)
• Fluent in English (B2 level and above)
Nice To Have Skills:
• Very appreciated experience with: GNSS systems, AT commands for GSM/UMTS/LTE/CATM modems, movement sensors (accelerometers, giroscopes), Bluetooth Low Energy
• Learning aptitude
• Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills
• Proactivity and strong results orientation
• Strong Planning and Time management skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to function in a complex, agile, fast-moving workplace and adapt to the changing environment.
