Competenze

Reports to: Head of CAS

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Audit Italy the Auditor will be part of the Corporate Audit Services function of ING providing independent objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve ING’s operations. Supporting ING to accomplish its mission and objectives through a systematic documented approach to examine, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of ING’s framework of governance, control and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Audit Lead in planning the incoming audits through dedicated meetings with stakeholders, identify key risks and key controls and define the related work programme.
  • Execute the audit assignments.
  • Discuss identified issues with the management and contribute to the reporting phase.
  • Validate the actions taken by management to address identified issues are appropriate and document related test results.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and support cross‑functional activities.
Requirements
  • University degree.
  • Strong knowledge of banking products, services and processes, regulations and understanding of governance, risks and controls.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in a financial institution within a risk/control related function.
  • Audit experience and professional certifications (CIA, CISA, CAMS, ACCA, CPA) will be an advantage.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
  • Used to working in a matrix organization.
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Advanced Excel user) and Data Analytics tools.
