Competenze

Responsibilities

• Take technical ownership of the overall Exhaust Aftertreatment System (including steel components, catalysts, particulate filters, process equipment and control algorithms)
• Act as the primary technical contact for internal teams (e.g. Sales and Project Management) and external customers
• Coordinate project-specific engineering activities with internal and external stakeholders
• Define the technical scope and manage the associated project objectives and budget
• Create project-specific technical documents such as Piping and Instrumentation Diagram, electrical schematics and network diagrams
• Support risk and safety analysis (e.g. DFMEA, HAZOP)
• Contribute to product development and product standardization efforts
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations

Qualifications

• Successfully completed engineering degree in process or mechanical engineering or comparable
• 3-5 years of professional experience in plant design or technical system development
• Knowledge of exhaust gas aftertreatment and combustion engines is an advantage
• High level of autonomy and reliability
• Strong analytical thinking, teamwork and communication skills
• A hands‑on mentality combined with a structured and methodical approach to work
• Good verbal and written communication skills in Italian and English
• Willingness to travel to customers and the headquarters in Elsau, Switzerland, approximately once per month
