A multinational corporation in Lugagnano Val d'Arda is seeking an experienced finance professional. You will contribute to financial reporting, ensure tax compliance, and collaborate with auditors. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in finance/accounting, knowledge of ITA GAAP, and strong PC skills including Excel and SAP. Fluent English is required.

Overview

We are seeking a qualified, engaged and motivated candidate that contributes to the Financial Reporting process for the Emerson Italy sites (Statutory Accounts under ITA GAAP) and Compliance with indirect Taxes.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to timely and accurate financial reporting:
  • Ensure preparation and filing of annual Italian statutory accounts with local authorities.Handles Journal Entries, Reconciliations of the accounts.
  • Interactions with Finance Shared Service on locally managed matters that have an impact on the monthly close of the US accounts (i.e. Tax).
• Manage compliance of direct (IRES/IRAP) and Indirect Taxes (VAT, property tax, waste disposal, other taxes) and Withholding (770 withholding tax return).
• Cooperate closely with Compliance function, Internal and External Auditors to ensure successful Audits.

For This Role, You Will Need

• At least 3 years experience in a Finance/ Accounting /Audit role in multinational contest;
• Good knowledge ITA GAAP (US GAAP is a Plus) and Taxation;
• Strong PC skills including Excel and SAP.
