- Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to the executive leadership team to support overall business objectives.
- Overseeing the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Ensuring financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are effective and compliant with relevant regulations.
- Managing the company’s treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
- Developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision‑making.
- Leading and developing a team of finance professionals to drive continuous improvement and best practices.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for business initiatives.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high‑performing finance teams.
- Proficiency in the use of financial software and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or ACCA qualification is highly desirable.
