Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Operative, where you'll play a vital role in our daily operations! Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading trailers, accurately picking orders, and utilising hand scanners to manage stock. This position calls for a commitment to physical fitness, meticulous attention to detail, and a focus on safety in a dynamic environment.
- Most are Monday to Friday
- Shifts - Day and night shifts available
- Basic Pay: £14.89* (6 AM - 7 PM)
- Twilight Pay: £16.50* (7 PM - 10 PM)
- Night Pay: £16.83* (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Overtime after 39 hours: £22.35/hour*
- Generous pay for bank holidays and Sundays: £29.79/hour*
To ensure a smooth induction process, candidates should have a good understanding of English for a 2‑hour Health & Safety training.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers.
- Utilise hand scanners for precise order processing.
- Sort and store goods with care.
- Prepare pallets for dispatch.
- Verify goods against delivery notes for accuracy.
- Uphold cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Previous experience with loading/unloading trailers or heavy goods preferred.
- Comfort with hand scanners is essential.
- Must be physically fit for manual tasks.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and possess basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Prior warehouse/logistics experience is a plus!
