Position: Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor)

Location: HM Prison Gartree

Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)

Shift pattern: 6.5 hours per week on Thursday, 11:00 to 17:30

Salary: £4,910.36 per year

Note: The role is based within a prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.

Additional requirement: You must have a current 3-year UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance).

Access to your own transport is necessary due to the remote location of this site.

HMPPS manages prisoner orders using their own funds. DHL handles the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. Your role will be vital in supporting prisoners' rehabilitation and working with a diverse team.

• Distributing orders on the prison wing accurately and timely
• Loading and unloading vehicles with orders
• Adhering to prison rules and regulations

• Ability to work in a prison environment alongside inmates
• Capability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Current 3-year UK address history (mandatory for security clearance)
