A national health service provider in the UK is seeking a part-time role in their Immunology Department. The position offers flexible hours and entails responsibilities such as preparation of reagents, maintenance of analysers, and quality assurance procedures. The Directorate of Laboratory Medicine encompasses Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Immunology, Microbiology and Cytogenetics. The directorate provides a range of analyses of blood, body fluids and tissues for the hospital inpatient and out‑patient population, local GP’s and other neighbouring Trusts.
The Immunology Department at Norfolk and Norwich Hospital undertakes investigations primarily covering autoimmunity tests, allergy testing and protein electrophoresis.
This is a part‑time post working in our immunology laboratory; flexible working arrangements can be accommodated. However, the role requires work on Thursdays and Fridays and occasional Saturdays.
