Lead Broadcast Engineer, Live Studios | Stockley Park
Job summary
A leading broadcast service provider is seeking an experienced Lead Broadcast Engineer for a 2-year fixed-term contract in Stockley Park, Uxbridge. The role involves overseeing live operations, managing technical facilities, and ensuring high-quality service delivery during broadcasts. Ideal candidates should possess strong leadership skills, a technical background in broadcast engineering, and extensive experience in live television environments. This position requires working unsociable hours including weekends and late nights.
Qualifications
- Proven background in broadcast engineering at management level.
- Extensive experience in live television environments.
- In-depth knowledge of transmission systems, video encoding and streaming protocols.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation of live broadcasts at Stockley Park.
- Manage a team of Live Event Supervisors and operators.
- Liaise with clients and operational teams for successful event delivery.
