A leading accountancy firm is seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager in Greater London. You will manage client portfolios for corporate tax compliance, supervise junior advisers, and engage with marketing initiatives. While experience in the creative sector is a plus, a strong corporate tax technical background and CTA/ACA qualification are essential. This position offers a hybrid work approach and competitive salary in the region of £53k - £63k plus benefits and bonus.
Our client is one of London's leading mid-sized accountancy firms. They have built a highly-respected Tax practice, with a specialist sub-team advising high profile creative sector clients. They act for major film studios, television production companies and video games developers, providing tax compliance and planning advice to their corporate structures.
The team is busy, growing and keen to recruit a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager.
You'll be responsible for a portfolio of clients, their corporate tax compliance, tax credit claims and tax accounting. Working with some of the sector's leading partners and senior managers, you'll also help with providing advice on a range of technical areas including capital allowances, R&D tax relief, transfer pricing, the Substantial Shareholdings Exemption, Controlled Foreign Companies, Withholding Tax and Double Taxation Relief.
As an Assistant Manager you'll also supervise junior tax advisers, as well as getting involved with marketing and business development initiatives.
Experience of advising creative sector clients is not essential, but an interest in that field is important. The successful candidate will be CTA and/or ACA qualified and possess strong corporate tax technical knowledge, gained within a leading accountancy firm environment.
The team will provide ongoing training, as well as support with progression towards Manager and Senior Manager grades.
Based in central London, the role offers hybrid working 2-3 days a week if one wishes. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £53k - £63k + bens + bonus.
