Our Team:
The Bloomberg Data AI group integrates innovative AI technologies into Bloomberg's Data organization, leveraging deep financial domain expertise to develop AI-powered products. We evaluate and annotate data, aligning AI innovations with Bloomberg's strategic goals to optimize data workflows and improve data quality, intelligence, and usability. Our efforts contribute to delivering intelligent data solutions that enhance Bloomberg's offerings and competitiveness.

The Role:
As a Data Product Owner, you will provide expertise in fixed income data and annotation program management, contributing to the development of Bloomberg Assistant (ASKB). You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop strategies for evaluation and annotation processes, ensuring the datasets meet client needs, align with product goals, and adhere to high standards of quality, transparency, and usability.

Responsibilities include:

• Defining evaluation strategies for Bloomberg Assistant in the fixed income domain, considering market nuances and user expectations.
• Managing the vision and roadmap for collecting evaluation datasets suitable for credit analyst workflows.
• Enhancing data robustness, annotation accuracy, and overall quality across datasets used for model evaluation and improvement.
• Using data analytics to identify trends and gaps, informing annotation methodologies to boost model performance and user trust.
• Addressing complex annotation challenges with effective solutions while maintaining data governance and integrity.
• Staying informed about industry trends in generative AI, evaluation, data annotation, and fixed income data management.
• Collaborating across teams to develop scalable evaluation data strategies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• At least 4 years of recent experience in the financial services industry, focusing on Fixed Income.
• Strong understanding of credit analyst workflows and data needs.
• Experience in data management concepts, such as improving data accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.
• Successful project management skills and task prioritization.
• Comfort discussing technical concepts and evaluating design trade-offs with Engineering and Product teams.
• Customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills.
• Logical thinking and critical problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Python and SQL.
• DAMA CDMP or DCAM certifications.
• Interest in generative AI frameworks.
• Experience with semantic structures or data modeling.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau, QlikSense, or Splunk.
