Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Educational Psychologist to join Wolverhampton City Council on a locum basis. The successful candidate will provide psychological services to support children and young people, working collaboratively with schools, families, and other professionals to promote positive educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
  • Work closely with schools, parents, and multi‑agency teams to develop strategies that support learning and emotional well‑being.
  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations based on assessments and observations.
  • Deliver consultations and training sessions to educational staff and stakeholders.

  • Travel across Wolverhampton for face‑to‑face visits (driving essential).
