Job summary
A well-established Scottish law firm is seeking a solicitor for its Renewable Energy team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will manage a diverse workload involving exclusivity agreements, options, leases, and due diligence on various projects, including wind and solar energy. With 2–6 years' PQE, candidates from energy or commercial property backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The firm supports professional development with hybrid working arrangements and participation in industry leadership opportunities.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have 2–6 years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience in the energy sector or transitioning from commercial property/rural background is preferred.
- Willingness to participate in training and industry events.
Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate exclusivity agreements, options, and leases.
- Support due diligence processes for major transactions.
- Assist clients on legal matters in various renewable energy projects.
