A leading employment agency is recruiting a cleaner in Newcastle-under-Lyme. The role offers £12.21 per hour with working hours from Monday to Thursday, 07:00-09:30. Responsibilities include performing cleaning duties safely, managing waste, and ensuring the safe use of cleaning chemicals. Experience in health and safety regulations is required. Immediate start available.
Formación
- Experience in safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations.
- Familiarity with PPE and safe work practices.
Responsabilidades
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties safely and effectively.
- Manage waste and maintain cleanliness in communal areas.
- Ensure safe storage and restocking of cleaning supplies.
- Dust, clean windows, polish, vacuum, and manage surface cleaning.
Conocimientos
Gap Personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for a cleaner in Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5.
Pay: £12.21 per hour.
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00-09:30.
Position: Temporary role.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties safely and effectively.
- Waste management — emptying bins and removal of waste from communal areas to segregate recycling.
- Supply management — safe storage of cleaning products, equipment and restocking products/toiletries.
- Surface & floor cleaning — dusting, cleaning windows, polishing and vacuuming, sweeping and cleaning various areas.
- Good knowledge and experience in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Adhering to Health and Safety regulations such as COSHH.
- Using personal protective equipment (PPE) performing risk assessment and a strong knowledge of safe work practices, such as manual handling and preventing slips, trips and falls.
